A clear next step

Know what to expect before and after your appointment

Know the next step from first enquiry to handover. A clear scope, preparation and a route for aftercare help you make an informed decision about the visit.

Where are you in the process?

If you are choosing a service, start with the device and describe the problem. If a visit is already agreed, use the preparation checklist. If work is complete and something concerns you, use the existing-repair route rather than starting a new quote enquiry.

From enquiry to an agreed visit

Send the model, symptoms or upgrade goal and postcode. David checks suitability and confirms the work, parts, known limitations, total and appointment in writing. A message alone does not create a booking; acceptance is followed by written confirmation.

Before work starts and at handover

At the visit, the device is inspected and the agreed scope and total are reconfirmed before work. Payment arrangements follow the written agreement. Relevant tests, any untestable functions and completed work are recorded at handover. Extra work requires your agreement first.

Help after the appointment

Keep the receipt and work record. Supplied parts and workmanship have the published 30-day guarantee, alongside statutory rights. If a concern appears, send the device, repair date or reference and symptoms. You do not need to prove a diagnosis before asking for help.

Take your next step

For a new job, ask about suitability and coverage. For a booked visit, flag any preparation difficulty before the appointment. For completed work, describe the concern and whether it is safe to keep using the device. Each route starts with a conversation.

A few practical answers

Your questions, answered.

Does sending an enquiry book a visit?

No. An enquiry starts a discussion. A booking follows agreement on the work and written confirmation of the appointment.

When is the scope agreed?

The scope and total are confirmed before booking and reconfirmed after inspection. Any change requires agreement before extra work begins.

Who should I contact after the repair?

Contact David with the repair date or reference, device and symptoms. Use the existing-repair route so the completed job can be identified.

A useful starting point

Tell David what needs attention.

A model, a description and a postcode are enough to start the conversation. The suitable work and total price are agreed before booking.
