Find the right repair for your iPhone

Broken glass, poor charging or a camera that will not focus? Start with the symptom you recognise and ask about the suitable repair for your exact iPhone.

Start with the problem you can see

A crack is easy to spot; a phone that will not charge can be less clear. Think about the affected function: the front or rear glass, battery life, charging connection, camera, sound or a physical button. A symptom points to an assessment, not automatically to a replacement part.

Choose a repair area

Screens and housing covers physical damage to the outside of the phone. Power and charging covers battery endurance and connections. Cameras and controls covers image capture, sound and buttons. Each area explains what to check and when another service is more relevant.

What affects the repair options?

The model determines the compatible part and any calibration or feature limitations. Previous repairs, liquid exposure and damage to several components can change the options. David does not offer board repair, microsoldering, liquid-damage recovery, biometric repair or ownership-lock bypass.

From enquiry to handover

The quote identifies the work and part, including known feature effects. Back up the phone if possible and enter any necessary access yourself. Relevant tests are recorded around the work. Opening and resealing a phone does not promise its original water-resistance rating.

Ask about your iPhone

Send the exact model and a description of what no longer works. Safe photographs can help explain visible damage, but do not include private screen content. If the phone is swollen, unusually hot or damaged around its battery, stop using it and explain that first.

A few practical answers

Your questions, answered.

Can you repair my iPhone model?

Model suitability is checked before a booking is accepted. Send the model name and the problem so the required parts, access and tools can be considered.

What if I do not know which part is faulty?

Describe the behaviour in ordinary words. For example, say that the cable only works at an angle or that callers cannot hear you; there is no need to name a component.

Will I need to back up my phone?

Make and check a backup where possible. If the phone cannot be backed up, tell David before the appointment so the risks and suitable next step can be discussed.

A useful starting point

Tell David what needs attention.

A model, a description and a postcode are enough to start the conversation. The suitable work and total price are agreed before booking.
